Lawrence Millett of Bauer Millett in Manchester has died of cancer. Very sad as he was not very old.

Sorry to hear that. Their American car business in Manchester has been there as long as I can remember.

This is terrible news. Lawrence sponsored my dad's car in the Tuscan Challenge while he was a TVR dealer. He was one of the few guys that would see me and my brother loafing around the garage area and come over and say hello. Nice bloke.

I moved to Manchester quite recently and live literally 300m from Lawrence's place at the bottom of Deansgate. Since I got here I have been meaning to call in and say hello as I haven't seen him in years. How bad do I feel now.
