My 996 spare key / fob, previously perfectly functional but unused for possibly years, is dead. Yes, battery replaced but nothing, no LED flashing, no opening of the car so not an LED issue. Tested the battery terminal to circuit board connections, they seem fine, using a multimeter on the solder. But otherwise it's as if the battery might not even be installed. The "old" battery is not even dead.
Any idea, any common failures, anything to look into? Fixable? Thanks
