Nice hotels with spa and pool in England?

My wife and I are taking our daughter to Legoland Windsor over the new year period. We were then going to fly somewhere for a few nights, however thinking about it our seven year daughter loves swimming at the moment so as long as the hotel has a pool she'll be happy.

Can anyone recommend nice hotels in England with a spa for my wife and pool for my girl? We'll be driving from Scotland so M6/M40 or M1 corridors, Oxfordshire, Cotswolds, Northamptonshire are all doable. City or countryside locations are fine.

If you're at Legoland I'd suggest Penny Hill Park - can't get a nicer pool/spa area(s) but not cheap!

Somewhere like The Grove could also work and is on the corridor

The Fairmont Windsor is perfectly located and is the nicest hotel in the UK I have ever experienced. Spa / Gym / Pool are all exceptional.

Coworth park part of the Dorchester group also nearby, fairmont beats that for me.
