So my friend told me i could get a council tax reduction, and i could check online. So put my circumstances in, nope, not allowed.

However, if I have less than 16k, I could get allsorts, zero CT, universal credit, job seekers, child benefit, free school meals, looking at nearly 2 grand a month in cash!

Sister was saying ADHD is on the increase because i can get more for that, then a carers allowance.

Get a mobility claim and it's the full shebang.

I've been working overseas, so didn't know any of this, shocked to say the least. At least I'll be able to get CB though, didn't know it was so much.

You’re not doing it right. The government lies to you every day so what goes around comes around.

According to your other thread ("Constructive Dismissal") you are (or were) UK PAYE so how were you not claiming CB?

Because I earned over a certain amount, now I'll be able to claim it. Unless I get a similar wage of course.

Ah ok, my mistake. Your post implied that you didn't know about any of this and how much CB you would be entitled to because you were "working overseas"

Contribution based Jobseeker s Allowance isn t means tested so you might be able to claim that. It s not much, £92 a week but view it as £400 a month towards some bills rather than money to live off
