The Brighton 6 is a modern classic that comes powered by a 550cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin motor.

Not a biker but like motogp etc and bikes in general, seeing all this big bike companies like KTM having issue keep afloat and Norton perpetually having trouble. I cant believe another biking coming back to market, also never heard of them, and style I can't believe will have a huge number of customers based on style of most bikes on the market.

The backstory reads like it's something Freddie Dobbs should review. Perhaps he could ride one to Yorkshire?

The patent part of the back story is the sort of trivia to geek out about.

How big is the market for this retro stuff?

Freddie Dobbs has recently done a gushing review of the GSX-8TT, I get the let's sell a motorcycle to a less aged demographic, but again how big is the retro niche?

Regarding the Phelon & Moore bike, it's heavy and to me the seat subframe doesn't fit the retro appearance of the rest of the bike. It reminds me of the aluminium subframe on the KTM Duke 790/890.

The headlamp bowl/cowl reminds me of some eastern bloc 2 stroke motorcycle from the 70s/80s.

We should assume it's a 270 degree twin?

Ironic that they're not a big single cylinder which is pretty much all that Phelon & Moore (later P&M, then later still Panther) motorcycles were famous for confused

I like the size of the tank, unless the engine is unbelievably thirsty it should have good range. Unsure why they didn't resurrect Panther, it's got a little recognition, and it's snappier.

The bike is generic retro pastiche, nothing of consequence and will need to be cheap to sell. Even then it's up against more established competitors. The approach of Fantic, in comparison, is higher quality.
