Comm Loans / Bridging / Dev. Finance etc Avoiding P2P

I've recently finished a career in the stock market and looking at redeploying some capital. Some passive / some active.
On the passive side one area I'm interested in is lending capital - on the small end of the scale - out for individual Bridging / Dev Finance.

I've used development finance before and acted as a private lender so have some knowledge on both sides.
Going through lenders on Brickflow I noticed there are a few individuals who appear to be doing similar, whilst also using debt.
I wondered if anyone on here has or is doing the same and how they'd got on, is the return worth it etc ?
