EV Cannonball Run in a modified Rivian
Discussion
Aging Wheels is a madman, not quite on the level of Colin Furze but not far off.
That looks like a proper project, video is worth a watch.
I'm glad I was coming to the same solution they did (people with a lot more knowledge on the subject than I have).
Odd that they didn't add an aero top on the bed, those can give some incredible efficiency gains, especially at high speeds.
Maybe looking completely stock was one of their self-set goals?

Enjoyed watching some mad scientists working with invisible death and looking forward to part 2.
Agreed, looked sketch AF, even though they obviously know what they are doing. One wrong touch or leak and the thing will explode half the cells in your body in a millisecond.
An interesting watch.
There are many factors to range, though. Weight is a factor, but not greatly so. My EV drops by nearly 10% if I put the heating on.
It would need a proper 'same conditions' test to be accurate. External temperature is a big factor when the vehicle needs to control the battery condition.

The test I saw he did was the same stretch of road, back and forth on the same day.

Not anti-ev, and all for this, but the haters have a point when you compare this with the original opening sequence and NOISE.....

If only the haters were driving Lamborghini Countachs instead of 320d's https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kk1vbwb6vS8&li...

As opposed to all those in the US, Liberia and Burma

Eh? I'm aware many countries use different measures of efficiency but he quotes mpg equivalent (UK) as one. A bit shaky the 'equivalent,' since it depends on the price of fuel that day, but I do it myself when trying to explain how cheap it is to charge at home to those without an EV.
Amusing though.
