I have come across a car collection company that sell repossessed vehicles online very cheaply (less than half price on some of the vehicles) and offer delivery only with payment being made up front.
Is this too good to be true I am asking myself, I have checked out the company registration on companies House and they have been trading since 2012 but the address was changed very recently to a residential one and not a warehouse. With all the cars online for sale they must have a warehouse, I'm thinking.
When I called, I spoke to an Eastern European man who said I cannot view the car and must have it delivered, payment is to be made up front and they only take bank transfers.
They offer a 30 day money back guarantee which he kept repeating him self about and the fact that they had been trading for 12 years. They also offer 12 months AA membership but when I search the AA website for approved dealers they do not come up.

What do you guys think? Dodgy or not?

Eastern Europeans selling cars for less than half price but you need to pay up front before delivery. Im not sure how many red flags you need.

If you try this you should write the money off and count yourself lucky if a car actually turns up

Hi David, I have the exact make and model you are after but can sell it to you for just 40% of its RRP.

I just require payment in apple vouchers.

Completely legit, honest wink

Step one, find the details of a reputable company set up a website in their name. Step two, offer impossible deals and wait for gullible punters. Step three, profit.

(You could alternatively send me the money by cryptocurrency and let me know what you want, I will pinky promise you to deliver your dream car in the post…)

Just walk away and buy your car from a reputable broker or dealer, where you can physically see the car and get an independent inspection done on it etc etc
