Thanks for posting, an interesting comparison - to an appreciator of Honda engineering especially.

Good CRX memories of 35 years ago, and the MP4/4 era.

The common theme with these comparisons is the McLaren is the drivers car, and its achieved via less is more, and simple thoroughly engineered solutions.

You continue to enjoy your Artura? and Beetle/s?

I do ... but the special car of choice is the Artura ...

So many youngsters and not so youngsters just want to sit in it ... comments at petrol stations ... smiles when you wait for pedestrians and other drivers ... and it's so cool when people do want to sit in it. The seat runs on roller bearings making it so easy to move the seat back when they get in and slide it back to the best position for the pedals, then the super cool big battery that enables you to leave the electrics on and move the steering wheel and instruments to the best position for them ... and then the photos !!

And then there is the sound system ....

By comparison the 991.2RS is a great track car ... just too noisy almost everywhere else ... and the same weight as the Artura without the big battery and electric motor !! Great cars but ... the McLaren is better.
