Hi does anyone know where I can get the seal around the rear window on the hood of my Audi A4 please. The hood is in excellent condition as I have had it looked after professionally. The Audi dealers only want to either replace the whole roof or sell me another car. It's a 2007 Audi A4 S line cabriolet with 80k miles on the clock and I have had it from new. I have contacted a couple of places but they are no longer undertaking that kind of repair. I have made a temporary fix with a recommended kit but I would like a proper job carried out. Any advice would be gratefully appreciated. Thanks

No garage will touch it, it's bonded in so a new roof or you can get a kit with the windscreen mastic and some suction cups to help keep it in position whilst mastic dries. Lots of posts on YouTube, facebook, internet with tips https://ebay.us/m/3suLnS

Same on my TT, I was hoping they might have sorted the issue on later cars. I repeatedly glue parts of mine back in using pound shop two-pack epoxy adhesive. I pick that because it goes off in five minutes and I can hold it in place for that long. Still leaks, though, and on the TT there's an electronic box handily installed below the lower right corner of the rear window.
