2008 Mazda MX-5 Niseko (NC)

Regarding the service history, I am trying to check that with my Dad who owned the car then. Once the car had finished with the service plan at Mazda, he switched to have the car serviced at a small local garage, which carried out the 2023 service.
I am certain my Dad did have the car serviced annually, however given the period covers the pandemic, it may be that one or two years were not recorded, but I am looking into it.
The MOT test record (which I have for every year) states that the car had done 11,273 miles on 13 September 2017, and 12,351 miles on 21 September 2023, so an annual service throughout that period was somewhat luxurious in any event.
The mileage is absolutely genuine, and the drivers seat is absolutely not worn. I think I had perhaps just got out of it when the photo was taken!!
As for the Cat N, my Dad's previous car, which also had the personalised plate, was indeed a category n. However, that incident predated the first registration of this car, and that can be clearly evidenced, as required. As pistonheads have mentioned, they are liaising with HPI to sort out the record.

Hello, I felt the need to post a comment regarding the Mazda MX5 my son is offering for auction. I am the original owner of the car and have had the car from new. In order that there should be no doubt in the mind of anyone bidding on the car let me state the following.
1. The full ownership of the car was transferred to my son last year.
2. The car carries a personal registration and has done since original registration. M15 GWA was however also on my previous mk2 MX5 which unfortunately due to an unmarked diesel spillage was involved in an accident and was written off.
3. This mk3 MX 5 Niseko is absolutely straight. The mileage is categorically correct. The dealer service and mot record fully support this. The car has never been in any form of accident.
4. The car was main dealership serviced for the greater part of its life but as the annual mileage diminished to lower and lower levels I switched servicing to my local well established village garage. During the covid period the car remained inside its dry well ventilated garage under its dust sheet.
So if you choose to bid on this genuinely sound and stunning example of one of the best drivers cars please do so in full confidence. It’s an absolute belter.
