Not had one for a long while, but when I have I found the best ones on the south side of the river.

Yes, went for a long weekend 2years ago.

Had a fantastic steak experience here: https://www.anticoristorodicambi.it/en/menu-ristor...

We had the baked onions, which were a surprise, a very pleasant one, spinach and fried potatoes, with the meat, which was just amazing.

One tip - the house wine is very reasonable and just a very good local wine. Don't be tempted by the others on the wine list.

The other restaurant, which we had to book in person, and again well worth it - https://www.worldofmouth.app/restaurants/ibrindell...

The steak looked good from what we could see of other people eating, but we had more local pasta dishes. Again, the house wine was very good.

According to my Florentine born-and-bred daughter-in-law, this is the top place to go, if you are OK with a bit of adventure, noise and possible queuing wink

We ate at the latter over Christmas last year whilst visiting the family, and it was excellent.
