I bought my db9 2005 and it only had one key and fob.

What's the cheapest way of getting a spare key and fob programmed to the car?

I've tried to research it and asked some auto lock smiths but they don't do them.

It's the old Volvo type fob.

Cheers

The fact that you only have one key/ fob is no doubt a reflection that there is no cheap way of obtaining a replacement.
As you mention, Volvo for the fob and I belive the key is Ford Transit.
There are a couple of vendors on line who have been mentioned on this forum that would be able to help you, both seem to have similar pricing. A check would be needed to see if the advertised price included coding.

Ace thank you.

The previous owner has the key and fob somewhere in her house move in a safe place but can't find it as it was with the v5. She had to get a new v5 before I bought it.

I will have a look at the links cheers

I have heard you can go to Volvo to get the fob but not sure what part number I would need to allow it to be coded.
