Autoglass "branches"
Discussion
Are any Autoglass branches actually a proper workshop? They all appear to be a container or an umbrella in a random car park.
Don't get me wrong, if they job's done well then I don't care, but in this weather the thought of trying to keep a car and clean while there is no screen doesn't sit right - and I've been told they can't do it kerbside (and use my garage) and has to be taken to a branch.
So, if anyone knows a branch which is actually has a nice clean workshop space rather than a wet soggy tent then please let me know so I can arrange to go there.
(I'm actually secretly pleased that they cancelled my appointment as soon as I got there this morning so they weren't working on it with the wind and rain we were having)

Yeah they won't come to me and fit regardless, as they say it's a 2 person job due to the glass size/weight I guess, and the mobile fitters are only 1 person. So that rules though out.
This was Oxford, but I then looked at Reading too (which is my next closest) and the pictures of that when I just did a Google drive by were just a container and a pop up gazebo too.
Northampton might be an option though. Good to know - thanks!
Either way, won't happen before Christmas now, was being told middle of Jan.
And yeah - branch finder on the site is all well and good, but they obviously don't advertise if it's an nice workshop or not!

I had a repair done a few weeks ago and it was done inside a workshop inside a branch. Drop the car off. Return an hour later and car is ready to go, all done. The repair is not invisible but I am assured that it is structurally sound and the screen is safe.
This unit is now an AutoGlass branch.
