Obviously 'great' can be subjective, so substitute 'popular', or 'noteworthy' as appropriate.

This isn't some kind of humblebrag or judgement; just films I've never seen.

Love Actually
Lost In Translation
ET
Frozen
Any and all Harry Potters
Any and all Godfathers
Apocalypse Now
Taxi Driver

...more to follow, no doubt.

Also:

Titanic
Avatar
Lion King
any Avengers or related films
any Fast and Furious film after the first two
any Star Wars prequels
any Pirates of the Caribbean
any LOTR

Schindler’s List. I was always put off with the fact it’s shot in black and white, which is a ridiculous reason, really.

I find Citizen Kane to be one I have to appreciate from more of a contemporary technical perspective, with some of the film making tricks they came up with to achieve certain scenes etc.

I can definitely understand being underwhelmed by it.

I prefer the third remake of The Mattress starring Klaus Kinski, a young Ross Kemp and Dolly Parton.

Harold Wilson did a great job moonlighting as director.
