Presents have arrived today, Christmas 2025, new technology.

In this thread I will be covering these main experiences.

a) Exoskeleton usage for almost (but not quite) who have semi-paralysis of the legs only and are over 65 i.e. a medical assistance setting

b) under 65s, fully mobile and chasing personal bests

c) fit, under 65s who want to mountain walk but don't have the natural legs for it .

Please share your experiences here.

I am interested in hearing, however I feel the number of people with exoskeletons to be quite low…

First testing was against a family member who has suffered a stroke 10 years ago, their arms work, they can stand but can only walk with a shuffle, they need a walker and mobility scooter. Cant climb or decend stairs without a lift or help.

They are however, able to lift their leg by approx 1 inch to engage the software on this wonderful machine.

The hypershell X ultra, set to 50% power in ECO mode was able to enable un-assisted walking on a flat surface, no walker, no wobble, no stick. Pretty remarkable stuff.

This was just a first test, stairs will be next. I would be stunned if the NHS dont already have a trial going.
