Ohme home pro stopped working
Discussion
Thought I'd start a topic on here to see if anyone else has been affected? And a bit of a rant.
Last week my charger just turned off and cannot seem to turn back on, just clicks and flashes screen for a second before clicking and turning off again. perusing the internet it appears firmware v3.0 has caused Ohme Home Pro chargers some issues
For reference my charger is 2 years old (with 3 year warranty) so far Ohme's response is defensive and telling me it is nothing to do with them and essentially to go away.
Not impressed with the whole situation as you can imagine, anyone else having this issue and how are you finding Ohme to deal with?

Have you powered it down for 10 minutes?
And can you go back to the installer, as for warranty on some EVC’s they need an electrician to go through a diagnostic with them before they send another unit. The Manufacturers don’t usually deal with the householder if it was a supply only, especially via a third party, as let’s face it, they don’t really want a punter DIY swapping it.
I’m not familiar with the Ohme, but it may be you need to back through the installer configuration process, but that will include setting the max current during charging sessions as per the agreement with your DNO, this is usually 63A on a 100A fused unlinked SPN supply, as that’s got automatic approval in most instances via the EA portal.
