Ipswich finished bottom of Div 1 that season, conceding an astonishing 121 goals......

On top of that 10-1 mauling by Fulham on Boxing Day, they lost 6-0 to Arsenal, 6-0 to Bolton, 6-0 to Liverpool and 9-1 to Stoke.
