I'm looking to buy an MX-5. I owned one a few years ago and now want to revisit the fun.
The car I'm looking at is a 2006 MX-5, 2 litre. soft top, not retractable hard top, 58,000 miles. £48000
It has a reasonable MOT history, just the usual tyres and brakes.
Last year it failed its MOT in May due to corrosion on the rear suspension (no surprise there!) It has since been repaired.
Is it worth the risk?
