A month in to ownership. The driver’s seat is set to the highest setting. Keen to try it at a lower setting. What tool is needed. I have standard Torx bits, but obviously need something different. Any info appreciated. Thanks.

They are security torx, ie ones with a hollow centre, readily available.

The bolts are supposed to be replaced when you move the seats I understand. I tried to hire an Alpine and they refused to change the seat height unless I paid for two trips to a dealer for the job to be done. Needless to say it wasn't worth it.

Thanks. Will get some security torx bits. Don’t know if I’ll get a new set of bolts though - will check availability.

Put some loctite on the old bolts if you don't use new ones, as they rattle loose due to vibrations.

I'd also recommend completely taking the seat out of the car as then it's much easier.
