Haven't flown from here for years but as we'll be departing from EMA in Feb 2026 with Jet2 I did some research, and I have some questions..
Parking
I've booked 10 days parking @ £90, self parking in their authorised car park. Didnt want the 'meet & greet' service at extra ££. I added a few hours to the time I anticipate driving out of the car park on my return, in case the flight is late, but after rebooking I noticed they give you 6hrs extra to allow for this. I also paid the £6 insurance to cover for any other delays that could happen, which is a gamble of course!
Question - I have entered the reg number of our car for their ANPR to operate the barrier, but if on the day we have to use another car is there a way of updating the reg number?
Escape Lounge
I also booked their Escape Lounge which can be used for up to 3hrs prior to departure @£35/p (normally £45? if purchased on the day). Complimentary food & drinks etc. If there is one thing I hate about airports, it's hanging around in the departure lounge.
Question - if my departure flight is delayed, can Lounge time be extended to match? I anticipate not, as seating numbers will have to be controlled.
FastTrack Security
I was also offered FastTrack for getting through security at something like £6/p. Never done this before or even heard of it, so to ensure I got full benefit of the Escape Lounge I booked it. Problem is, you have to specify a time to pass through security.
Question - Whilst I have to be at the Jet2 checkin 3hrs before my flight, you can never be sure how long it will take to get through check-in, so im not sure how I can predict a correct time for FastTrack?? Is there an option for fast/express check-in?

The times for these things are usually pretty vague, so I wouldn’t worry too much about being bang on time for the fast track security. Chill out, relax and enjoy your holiday! Jet2 generally throw a lot of staff at their airport checkin desks, so you’re generally served pretty quickly, regardless of how busy it is.
As an aside, you may find a discount available on the stuff you ve booked via Holiday Extras, either direct or via a cashback site. Fastrack security in particular often attracts 50% cashback.

Parking is alright, drop-off wrip-off. The whole place is no stopping and enforced by camera.
They will answer the car park intercom.
I don't use a private lounge. Frankie and Benny or Pork and Pickle are usually fine.
