Flu aching

Utterly awful XMAS ruined by this winter flu bug, days in bed etc.

Recovering now, but am struggling with horrendous leg ache in the evenings, like restless legs, never known anything like it

Why does THIS have to be a part of having flu, my legs did eff all!!!

Yes for me, it was a few days or awful sinus pain, a mild sore throat, no eating at all for 4 days, very, very tired and no ability to sit up for much more than an hour before paying down again.

Insatiable thirst that is still a factor and now morphed into a tickly cough and just a feeling of slight illness, the sore legs lasted a few days, but was so bad I had to take tablets to sleep.

I try and sweat this stuff out with baths etc, but even then I flaked out after getting up from the bath and nearly fainted, probably lack of food and water.

All our family had the same thing - pretty nasty.

I escaped with a bit of a runny nose and a sore throat.
