Canaria to Bristol last night TUI delayed more than 2 hours due to a bit of the plane falling off thought we were supposed to get at least food vouchers or something offered nothing despite asking..

What am I entitled to? Best guess?

TUI left us stranded for 29 hours in 2013 in Lanzarote.

It should have been an open and shut case for compensation but they wriggled out of it.

The big lesson is, don't use TUI.

Unless the flight wasn’t covered by ec 261 (fairly sure it was) they were obligated to give us food and drink so I’ve complained

Rubbish airline never again

There's varying, and conflicting, information given.

Some say 'must' others say 'should' (when it comes to food).

It's always worth making a claim from them, but they will always try and wriggle out of it.

When delayed by 4.5 hrs returning from Turkey the BA rep gave us vouchers for two slices of pizza. Well appraently it was pizza. Absolutely vile.

The only thing BA refunded was our coach fare from LGW home. Said it was because of a 'security incident' therefore not covered. They're all ****holes.

I'm still waiting for a refund from Emirates when they grounded their entire global fleet with 24 hrs notice in covid. Naff all chance

Unless BA caused the security incident or the whole Wuhan thing is a cover story for Emirates Airlines creating the Covid virus then neother insident is the airlines fault so not the airlines responsibility and no, you're not legally entitled to compensation in either case.

It's not like the alternatives are any better.
