Just got in, and it's bloody freezing.

In the event of a tie, preference will be given to a photo taken specifically for the competition.

The photos taken must be your own work
The competition will run from the first to the last day of the month.
The winner from the previous month decides on the topic for following month and judges it at the end of the month
Entries and discussion on a single thread, please.
All entrants acknowledge that they may indeed win and that their adherence to convention ensures everyone else's continued fun.
Winners should update the Competition Wiki (it's easy)
Photos entered can be as large as you like, although bear in mind if too large, it may not be possible to see the whole image on some screens. Links to larger versions are permissible.
If after 7 days of a competition ending, either a winner has not been declared, or the winner has not created a new thread, a new thread should be started, with the topic set as whatever the topic was 10 years ago, based on this wiki.

Not taken specifically for the competition but by moonlight just after midnight a few days ago, camped at Loch Etchachan in the Cairngorms. Definitely wasn't toasty warm outside the tent.

I was nice and toasty but my model reckoned it was a bit chilly.

A few years ago - took my trusty old Alfa GT on winter tyres to Lake Vyrnwy - it coped amazingly well. Minus 10 degrees and upwards of 6” of snow on some of the roads.

Hard to choose which one to enter this month, but since we've had no drone shots yet I'll go for this one. No post-processing, just shooting straight down through the falling snow from the edge of the (very low) clouds. DJI Mini 2.

Well those all fit the brief very well, although perhaps 'wet' would have been a better topic for the weather we had.

Benzinaio, I keep coming back to your photo - love the sense of isolation combined with great lighting so congratulations, over to you!
