Hi, we had a new loft with ensuite done few months ago and the tower radiator is not working and has never worked. I am attaching picture showing 2 pipes coming in. One pipe has a valve and the other doesn't (our old bathroom has valves in both pipes). There is a "cap" on 2nd pipe and I Have included picture of what's behind this "cap". I have checked One valve that is installed is open and there is no air in the radiator. The pipe with valve gets ever so slightly warm when heating is in so the water is reaching to the pipe but radiator is stone cold.

Should there be any valve on 2nd pipe? Without the valve is there anything I can try and get it working. Builder had said he can come and have a look but he's not back until middle of Jan so just trying to see if there is anything I can do before then.

Thanks

The part under the cap is a lockshield valve that you open/close with an allen key.

They are a minimalist design to look good.

Thanks. I was not sure if opening it will result in any leaks but will give it a try. Thanks.

I'm going to guess you have already tried bleeding the radiator of any air that may be trapped inside?
