It looks like you just bought it in time. With all those options fitted maybe it was a BMW UK car, or maybe a demonstrator or pre-registration as they tend to be pretty well loaded.

6 cylinder E9*s are great cars. I've had my manual 2005 E90 330i nearly 7 years now, but being an early one it has the N52 engine.
