US ICE Agents - Trumps Militia?
Discussion
The U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is meant to be a federal agency whose mission is, “to protect America from cross-border crime and illegal immigration that threaten national security and public safety."
The budget bill passed by Congress and signed by President Donald Trump on July 4, 2025 is set to add $170.7 billion to the immigrant and border-enforcement budget across several involved agencies over the next 4 years. Thats larger than most countries Defence Budgets.
The organisation has far fewer rules compared to other agencies:
- ICE is not subject to local or state rules that govern police departments.
- No laws explicitly bar ICE agents from wearing masks to hide their identity.
- No laws require ICE agents to wear body cameras or to provide badge numbers or identification. Often, ICE agents wear plainclothes and drive unmarked cars.
- ICE agents may legally arrest people without a warrant if they “reasonably believe” the person is likely to escape.
Trump administration official Stephen Miller and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem have set a “minimum” quota of 3,000 ICE arrests per day, leading to workplace raids and reports of racial profiling.
Yesterdays shooting by an ICE Agent is just one of 100s of incidents.
A less publicised incident occurred earlier this year when Marimar Martinez was driving around Chicago’s majority-Latino Brighton Park neighborhood warning people that federal immigration agents were coming. An ICE Agent aimed an assault rifle at her and shouted “do something, b
h” before opening fire.
Martinez, an American citizen, was hit five times, and survived. The agents claimed she rammed their car and arrested her. Martinez’s lawyers provided video footage contradicting that claim, showing agents ramming her car, and prosecutors dropped the charges. The court case produced text messages from the agent who shot her, bragging about his feat: “I fired 5 rounds and she had 7 holes. Put that in your book boys.”
At least 20 shootings and five killings have occurred this year, various sources highlight shootings involving immigration agents are not always publicly reported.
Want to join ICE?
- ICE agents undertake a 6-week training programme.
- Sign on bonus can be up to $50,000.
- Only 10 people (out of possibly 10,000 hires) have been dismissed due to criminal activity
Now is a good time to join.
US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has reportedly planned a $100m, one-year media blitz for what it’s calling “wartime recruitment”, targeting conservative radio show listeners, gun rights aficionados, military affairs followers and men’s interests enthusiasts.
"Think about how many criminal illegal aliens you could fit in this bad boy!"

Not a meme. An actual advert posted on the Homeland Security X account.

Yes instead of the Police shooting innocent people and then being fired and disowned now it’s a group of racists, Nazi wannabes and fat meal team six cosplayers being paid to shoot people.
After all Trumps regime will need a loyal militia to ensure the next election can be overturned in their favour.

I support the us securing its borders but that advert is wild!
Their annual budget is now more than most national military budgets.
For that, I'd expect many months of training and rigourous screening.
Instead, they seem to be obese gamers and white supremacists who've probably been promised an allocation of caucasican wombs to impregnate when the bodycount hits the right level.
This is what the people voted for so any outcome is ultimately their will.

Nothing about America surprises me anymore.
From the outside looking in, Life seems cheap, laws only apply when it suits the guy with the most power/money/leverage, society doesn't exist, they're all too obsessed with greed to notice or care, corruption isn't tolerated, it's celebrated. Signs of economic failure like Government Shutdowns seem almost normal now.
This is what an Empire looks like when it's about to fail. Trump isn't the cause, he's a symptom.

It would be nicer if it could happen sooner rather than later so that my pension has time to recover. It's as if he's following the career path of AH, but quicker. The similarities were apparent early on in Trumps rampaging through the constitution, but those who pointed it out on here were dismissed by referencing Godwin. Mind you, I'm not sure whether the armed forces or ICE will be attacked during the American version of the Night of the Long Knives. Plenty of Fox News hosts available to run the army if the present incumbents are in his crosshairs.

Seems no lessons have been learned, some of the parallels are staggering.
