Cheapest decent multi-region DVD player?

I have a couple of region 1 DVDs I'd like to be able to watch, but no longer have any means of playing them.

I would like small form factor because it won't be used very much, but not keen on an unbranded one from AliExpress. Can anyone recommend a reasonable quality one?

An alternative would be a drive that plugs into my laptop or Xbox via USB.

buy a cheap usb drive and rip them with handbrake

You could rip them, I have in my day, I certainly wouldn't faff about again.
