iPad Mini Keyboard

Treated myself to one this week, with cellular and an e-sim, something to live in the glove compartment, slip into my bag etc. It’s great.
Only downside is that because of the size on the few occasions I want to type something, even a password, the on screen keyboard takes up half the screen. I found it a pain on 11” and 13” iPads but this is bordering on unusable.
I got it with the Apple cover which is great and keeps the size nice and small, but they don’t do a keyboard. There seem a few on the market, has anyone used one and can vouch for the quality? Are there any that don’t need charging independently of the iPad like the Apple versions for the larger iPads?
