2016 Hyundai i40 tuning box/remap

Hi all.
Purchased a 2016 crdi i40 this week as a work car to commute 20k miles per year. 90% is on the motorway.

Two things I have found- mpg is at around 55mpg
Midrange acceleration for slip roads is a little flat.

Has anyone experience with that engine and tuned it?

Would a proper remap be better or a tuning box (plug n play) be ok?

Is it worth doing it? I'd prefer more mpg than power

Are there any other things that would help?

May be a clogged inlet manifold, which will reduce max power attainable. A tuning box won't help there.
