hi all test driving a 1989 944s2 tmw, is bubbling over a rear wheel arch a big problem or can it just be sanded and sprayed (as galvanised) ? Also is their anyway of telling if the brakes are on the way out other than if they look very rusty? lastly the service history from 2000 is poor - so how much to get the cambelt, tensioner, etc done.

thanks in advance

Although galvanised these cars can rust, it may be a sign of accident damage or that stone chips have gone untreated. Bubbling normaly means serious rust underneath so probably best to get the car inspected by a Porsche specialist.
