Comedian Guz Khan takes on the wild world of car modification. With zero mechanical know-how, he teams up with best mate Lumboo and expert mechanic Darryn, hitting car meets and learning from passionate modders as he builds his own daring custom creation.

I wouldn't touch one of his cars but it was an entertaining watch. I like Guz be interested in seeing what he does with an S2000 (in the first episode I believe)

In a recent podcast Guz mentioned one of his first cars was a E39 M5. Man is into his motors.

Even Bernie said they were ScensoredT.

I will apply my twenty minutes rule to this one... but after watching the trailer, this may be wishful thinking.
( I still struggle with the Smallest Cog... but I'm getting better.)

Gave up on it at the ad break and turned off...... don't find that Guz geezer funny or interesting in the slightest
To be fair, I don't think I'm the target audience its aimed at so won't bother watching any more.
Think they are trying to appeal to the much younger guys that find existing car related programs boring but I for one will be surprised if there's a second series.

Yeah, that was awful! Basically an hours show to fit an aftermarket exhaust they'd bought. With a few visits to people who had modified cars.

The Heart of England Event shown in the show is genuinely great though. Im very local, and was there the day this was filmed (but fortunately not in shots) but its a very varried event. There was one of those very expensive Toyota 2000GT (I think) there once. Well worth a look if youre local.

It seems that this isn't Guz Khan's first visit to PH.

HIGNFY: 2025

Guz Khan is terrible
He does seem a bit of a passenger.
(The future looks bleak).

Same. Highlight of the show was when they laughed at the phrase 'mating flange'!

I quite enjoyed the programme, partly because of the above. Also because of the young guy doing the hot rod and for the beach buggy. I love beach buggies. The whole show made a good change for me from blokes going on about "originality" restoring the same old cars. I'd love to see what the hot rod guy ends up with.

Went in with low expectations but thought it was corny but alright tbh. Helps I grew up with/always owned modified cars (though not as extreme as most!)

"Isn't it"

Prepared to give it the benefit of the doubt... endured twenty five minutes of absolute nothingness.

Sooo not my thing. Caught my eye as I knew they were going to ruin an S2000. However, found it quite amusing, he doesn’t take anything too seriously.
