Robots !

When I was a kid, robots looked crap and for years I always thought it wouldnt happen.

But here we are, numerous companies all showing various humanoid robots ranging from 2/3rd scale cutesy ones to some proper scary looking things.

Looks like we have gone from stuff that was largely useless and looked like something from a fifties black and white film to stuff that can run, jump, fight and lay a table.

Would you be having a sort of Kryten droid to do the household chore or would you be worried that it would turn and kill everyone ?

Our Roomba must be 7 or 8 years old and loves to try and trip me up, more modern domestic robots must have better ways of trying to kill us by now.

I have a Roomba which is great. I also quite liked Hypnodisc.
