I've been lucky enough to have owned a Porsche 991.1 GT3RS in the past (in launch colour Ultra Violet) but when I saw this Signal Yellow example (the only one in this colour as I understand it) at Ashgood I just couldn't resist! All being well collection will be next week. Fingers crossed!

Nice one! I was literally just reading your GT4RS thread (owner here too).

It must be a full time job enjoying your garage - an enviable one mind beer

Lovely car. I saw it when it was for sale at Silverstone a few years ago.

If you're free bring it along to the March Porsche meet in the cotswolds - https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...

We can get some pics with my signal C2S wink

Wow, that's lovely. Always preferred the GT3 to the RS but the colour may have just swayed me on this.

That's a kind invitation, thank you. I could well be available then and my brother lives nearby so it could work out nicely. However, I can't commit absolutely due to work. Do you might if I confirm slightly nearer the time?

My favourite version of the GT3RS..but I am going to have to say the Violet with the yellow callipers would be my dream car. This is a bit too British Telecom Yellow..! (no offence - its still stunning!)

Haha, none taken! It's actually quite different in the flesh. I used to have an Ultra Violet one with silver wheels and yellow callipers. I must have done 15,000 track day miles in it and it never missed a beat.

That's lovely cloud9 991RS' don't seem to be that well loved looking at prices - similar price to a 997.1, cheaper than the 997.2 and half the price of a 992. No idea why though?

The 991.1 RS is stuck somewhat in no man's land between the 997 GT3 RSs and the 992 GT3 RS. Increasingly buyers want the 997 because it's the last of the Metzger engined cars, they have a manual gearbox and they're smaller in size, plus the all important numbers: they built c. 1,100 9971.1 GT3 RSs and 2,000 997.2 GT3 RSs whereas they built 4,500 991.1 GT3 RSs. As regards the 992 RS, well that's next level in terms of tech and performance plus it's the newest kid on the block. I think prices are starting to stabilise for the 991.1 GT3 RS so it means it's a good time to buy IMHO!
