Hi Mark good to see you've got it going. The Bristol crew are meeting the South Wales crew in the Services just west of Monmouth on the A40 (check the link in the first post). Sounds like they're coming up the Wye valley.
I thought of catching them at the bottom of the Wye Valley and tagging on the back from there, it's a great run. We can meet up anywhere really. The A40 meet point or if you fancy it a blast up the Wye.
Jeff where do you fancy meeting up?
Edited to say
Any more "cluckers" out there
I've got some empty cans and some string for the back of Mikes

Sorry Wyn, missed your reply. Not sure yet. Checking the e mails group to see what is going on. Nearly missed this altogether.

I fancy going heads of the valleys to Monmouth then down to the bottom of the Wye valley and then back up with them. Get to do it twice then. More interesting than the M4.

I'm not sure of the route from the Monmouth services, it's one of those secret squirrel jobs. They're handing out route plans on the day . Would you be able to come over there?
If not I'll see if I can find out which way they're going from there.

Despite having left the car with the garage at the begining of September (whilst we were away for best part of 4 weeks) so they would have plenty of time to do the job, they have only loooked at it this Wednesday!!!

Expecting a report today regarding the usability of the Wedge - no way that they will have done all the work but if it goes, stops (as well as any wedge stops!) and nothing is likely to fall off then the white beast will be heading down the M5 first thing Sunday morning, hood down of course.
Will let you know later today.
