Aftermarket aero for the Alpine A110
Discussion
I’ve been going down the rabbit hole of aftermarket aero for the Alpine and thought it might be useful to start a proper thread collecting who actually offers parts, and more importantly what people’s real-world experiences are.
Here’s the list of manufacturers I’ve come across so far, with some brief thoughts. Would love for people to add to this, correct me where I’m wrong, and share hands-on experience:
Waldow Performance (Germany)
As far as I know, carbon-only parts. They also run race cars, so I’d expect decent engineering and QC. Curious if anyone here runs their stuff.
Life110 (UK)
Probably the gold standard in terms of reputation. Worth mentioning though: from what I could find, the splitter and side skirts are imported Garbino parts from Japan as far as I can tell. Not a negative per se, just interesting context.
Evox Performance
Carbon aero only. They’re obviously very well known for exhausts, but I’m less sure about their aero credentials. Would be good to hear if anyone has fitment or performance feedback.
Reß Motorsport (Germany)
Carbon and non-carbon parts. I’ll be honest here: I bought their non-carbon rear lip spoiler and regret not going for the Signatech one instead.
Fitment wasn’t great, it doesn’t sit flat on the body, has very little contact surface, and cannot realistically be applied with 3M tape. Windshield glue is basically mandatory, which makes removal messy and borderline irreversible.
From what I can tell, these same parts are also sold by Elia Tuning, so worth being aware of that.
Scara 73 (Italy)
Very interesting-looking carbon parts, but no pricing information anywhere. If anyone has actually ordered from them, I’d love to know how that process went.
BDA Racing (France)
Huge catalogue. Carbon and non-carbon, splitters, diffusers, wings, basically everything. Looks promising at the first glance, but at the second look some if it looks a bit low quality. For example some of their side skirts have cool looking end-plates which unfortunately are bolt on instead of an actual integrated part of the skirt.
MP Rézeau (France)
They do wild stuff for the Alpine. Very motorsport-focused, very impressive, and very expensive. Probably as close as you get to race-grade parts for road cars.
Signatech carbon rear lip spoiler (France)
Worth calling this out separately. This is the spoiler used on Cup, GT4 and R-GT cars, and it’s sold by multiple outlets including Life110, K-Tech Racing, Mecaparts, MP Rézeau and others.
Seems to be the benchmark option if you want OEM-plus motorsport credibility.
Jon Seal / LotusHardtops
New non-carbon splitter and side skirts. Design-wise, they actually look very good. But I've heard mixed reviews on the quality and fitment. I have actually ordered a set as the price is too tempting, will report once I install and run it.
I think that’s everything I’ve personally come across so far, but I’m sure I’m missing things.
What would be really valuable:
First-hand fitment experiences
Whether parts are actually functional or just aesthetic
Which ones feel worth the money
If anyone has data, seat-of-the-pants impressions, track experience, or even horror stories, please share. Would be great to build a proper reference thread for Alpine owners rather than everyone reinventing the wheel.
Looking forward to hearing some experiences!

You didn't mention what you wanted aero for for yourself? Is there a problem you want to rectify in the driving feel, downforce or whatever specifically?
I've personally noticed that at 70+mph the car feels a little dancey, as if there is a lot of wind, and Alex (legless) told me it's to do with how light the car is and that's why he has a front splitter and side skirts. I haven't been able to corroborate this yet.
Edit to add the disclaimer that I am not an experienced driver, mechanic or racer, lol. Here to learn more.

This does seem to be an Alpine trait, the usual solution is to get the suspension geometry checked, it certainly improved my, owned from new, GT when set to the Life110 geo. Gave it better turn and and more stable at speed.I've personally noticed that at 70+mph the car feels a little dancey, as if there is a lot of wind, and Alex (legless) told me it's to do with how light the car is and that's why he has a front splitter and side skirts. I'm sure aero could help as well but like the standard lines of mine.
You may well have seen my comments on the Jon Seal splitter on here a few weeks ago but for future reference for others I'll copy it to this thread with the following caveats:
A. Pay particular attention to the text in brackets below.
B. I am fussy when it comes to my car!
I have to say I'm not that impressed with the quality of splitter overall ( although to be fair there are others who don't seem to have had the issues I've had. ) .
1. The packaging was woefully inadequate so mine arrived with a scratch mark on one end where it was jammed up against the cardboard with no protective wrapping.
2. The finish in general isn't that great, to the extent I plan to remove it in spring and have it re-finished. It looks OK on the car but nowhere near OEM quality
3. There were four predrilled holes on mine that didn't line up so I had to drill them out by about 2mm to get things lined up.
I appreciate the splitter is massively cheaper than others on the market but for me it has certainly been a case of 'you get what you pay for'.

Suggest you to visit the Alpine store Laaerberg to see the Waldow parts on an S model they are currently offering.
Best Regards
I have the full life110 aero kit including the rear spoiler and it really does make a significant difference mainly on track but its also very obvious on the road as well. I bought the car with the kit already fitted so I don't have a directly comparison but I have driven cars without any aero and mine feels a lot more stable and precise at higher speeds. Aesthetically I think the design is the best of all the options listed and the quality is second to none, really nice . The front splitter isn't just a lip, it goes all the way back to meet with the undertray so is functional. As you have mentioned the front splitter and side skirts are Garbino items from Japan but I wouldn't let this put you off.

Can you judge whether the aero makes such significant difference or is it perhaps the geo?Gassing Station | Alpine | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
