Lift on a 992 Turbo S with PASM -10mm Suspension
Discussion
Hi all, currently searching for a 992 Turbo S. There is one available in my perfect spec here: https://finder.porsche.com/gb/en-GB/details/porsch...
However, the car does not have lift and has the -10mm suspension. Is this likely to be a problem in multi storey car parks etc?
I had lift on my 991 GT3 which was essential but I know the turbo bumper at the front doesn't sit as low. Just looking for some real world ownership experiences.
Thanks,
Andrew

I've specked lift on my Turbo S but I've been thinking of deleting it because the front isn't that low, however -10mm on your car could be risky IMOHowever, the car does not have lift and has the -10mm suspension. Is this likely to be a problem in multi storey car parks etc?

I have a 992 GTS with -10mm suspension. I have Front Axle Lift and it is brilliant and saved me many times. I was in a different area once and didn't think to put lift on whilst going up a ramp (was distracted as was on a call), it scraped slightly but luckily no damage as it was just the rubber piece under the front splitter.
I have lift on a boggo 992.1 C2S on standard PSM (i.e. non-drop). It's true that I don't use it often, but there are some very aggressive speedbumps near me which I can catch the fins in front of the front wheels (which I know isn't that bad) but very happy to be able to lift the nose and not wince to the sound of something grinding.
If I had a more aggressive/expensive setup, I'd be even more keen to have the ability to lift on the odd occasion it were needed.
