Was very tempted, but didn't have the time to register with the online auction house to bid frown

Wondered if someone on PH bought it? Seems like a good car from the research I did. Reg LJ51 KOV. Previously sold by Str8Six and had an engine rebuild.

Surprise surprise. Northeast salvage bought it. Relisted on ebay already.

Would need a lot of work ; cat S means structural damage (chassis etc) and must be referred to DVLA for re-registering.

There's a renovated cat N with lots of parts / work done for only £3000 more - probably a more economical buy :

From visible photos, it looks like bodywork only, plus exhaust and possible suspension components. Insurance assessors are not particularly known for their specific vehicle expertise, especially for body-on-chassis cars. Many a heavy damaged car I've seen as cat N (old D)

It would take a lot bigger impact than that to damage the chassis on a TVR.
