RS4 (B8) Coolant Question
Discussion
Hi All,
I have an Audi RS4 B8. Its new to me and I'm a little concerned about the colour of the coolant as per the below photo. I have extracted a small amount and it is purple as G12 should be however when viewed from the reservoir as below it is more orange/brown.
The car drives ok, doesn't overheat etc. Just wondering if others with a similar car have the same? the black reservoir doesn't help!
Thanks,

Check if the expansion bottle has silikat on it some contain a small bag of silica crystals which releases additives to supposedly help with aluminium corrosion, they can burst and cause discolouration and worse still the crystals can block the radiator and heater matrix alot of people take them out burst or not.
Thanks,
