Where can I get PS CS from?
Discussion
Currently have PS6 and am looking to buy the Martin Evening book but the only ones I can find in book shops is for CS. So I decided I now want CS as I guess it must be better and more upto date than 6.
Does anyone thats very kind out there know where I could possibly get a 'copy' from?
Thanks, Greg
e-mail me through my profile if necessary.
Fankoo!

I'm having the same problem, have PS6, but it runs very slowly on my computer and sometimes freezes it up so I think CS might be pointless (or maybe its just a crap copy)
. Also need to track down a copy of Publisher somehow, as I need it for school work.
If anyone knows of any...er....'perfectly legal and safe'
ways of getting either of these/if CS would work on my PC, I'd be very grateful
try photoshop elements 4. its cheap, its legal and it probably does all that you need ps to do.
www.adobe.co.uk/products/photoshopelwin/main.html
its £49.

Um, I'd quite like to know where to get it too please
Ditto. Happy to trade something in return or pay a few beer tokens
Dave drop me a mail. I have a copy and a device capable of making back ups
I'm back in Bournemouth now as well if you fancy a beer one evening?

Gee, it feels really good to know that last week I paid £500 to Adobe for legit upgrades to help subsidise piracy
.
I would be a hypocrite if I said I had never used pirated software but, if I find the software useful, then I buy it. I have also helped people out when they are starting out and want to 'try' software, but more often than not they end up buying it. OK, I'm pro, it's tax deductible etc, etc. and yes PS does cost a lot for amateur use. I'm sure some would agues that if it was cheaper you would buy it. But, do you really need all the features for amateur use? How many use the pen tool to create clipping paths or CMYK? If not, Elements is very capable and very affordable or you can download The Gimp for free.
What I find amazing is how blatant everyone is about this piracy, especially professional people who I would have thought would understand the concept of copyright theft.
Now, does anyone know where I can get a 'copy' of a D2X for a couple of pints?

Yup. I can't believe, knowing the people posting here, that they're being so stupid. It's no better than me going on General Gassing and asking if anyone's got a nicked stereo for sale, then loads of people offering one!
This place isn't a 'swap shop' and other forums have been shut down for similar threads.
This thread being deleted wouldn't be a bad thing...
