ITV X increase subscription by 50%

Got an email today it's 50% up from February.
No explanation and no notice.My DD is 2 Feb .
It's a good service I like, but that's a very rude price increase.

You aren't exactly blasted with ads on ITVX anyway. Don't know why anyone would pay for ad free.



Ps. You know it's possible if you had a minipc connected to your TV and played ITVX through say, Chrome with the usual blockers you probably won't see any adverts at all.

I pay Sky an extra £5 a month to allow me to skip ads, it works when I stream too so I can skip ads on ITV / C4 et al stuff as long as it's not live. You do have to press the button so it's not exactly ad free, but it might be a better option it suits OP.

OP here .

Yes its the no adds subscription , I have used it for a couple of years , since it began I think .
Its my go to evening TV, watching series programmes often quite old and I have only ever seen adds on one programme I watched in all that time , it was a US programme and recent they were showing .

In terms of ITV with adds I have a completely different experience to those that say you don't get many adds . For me it makes it unwatchable , it must be 15 mins of adds per hour I just cant stand it .

Its been very good value a4 £4 a month and £6 it still is , however its a big increase , that was my point .
