Hi all, any suggestions for my specification here?

-£5k-8k
-preferably an mpv type for insurance etc and versatility
-long enough to fit a 2.3m motorcycle in the back with rear seats removed
-occasional use so I could get the bike in the back and go up to Scotland, Wales, Europe on a weekend a few times a year
-cruise control would be great but understand that's going to be a rare luxury

Obvious choice is the Transporter but do any van experts have a better suggestion for this rustbox price range? biggrin

Vito. I bought mine four years ago with 90,000 miles on the clock, and it has been faultless so far. Has cruise control.

Vivaro / Dispatch / Expert / Scudo in LWB and your budget so stretch to the newer models with the 1.6 or 1.5 hdi engine..

The newer ones have all the mod-cons like android auto, parking sensors and cruise control. Pretty frugal too for a van with mine averaging around 45mpg.
