I had a Tuscan back in 2010 and selling it is something I’ve regretted for a long time and really want another one!.

Obviously prices are quite different from what they were when I sold mine nearly 16 years ago!.

I’d say budget would be 25-30k my 2 absolute must haves are that it’s had a rebuild and that it has air con as will be going to Europe in it in summer and would rather have it than not-remembering TVRs tendency to absorb heat!.

Is 60k miles too high to consider one?, or about right at my budget?.

The only others I’ve seen advertised that are seemingly still available are in colours I’m really not keen on- burgundy/wine red or racing green.
I think both colours look great with a Griffith or Chimera but to my eye they just don’t suit the Tuscan.

Do many still come up for sale these days?, just I’ve started looking at the wrong time of year?, I’d love one in electric blue, black or dream colour would be the green or purple flip paint but think I might have to manage my expectations with that one and my budget!.

I bought a 2001 Mk1 Tuscan in Cascade Indigo (the one the other thread is about...) in 2021 for 28k from Str8Six. It had around 55k miles. I put around 15k miles on it in five years. It had a rebuild, was well looked after, and I had it serviced at a specialist every year on a no expenses spared basis (cost 1.5-2.5k a year). It was reliable, a joy to own and use, and never let me down. So, wouldn't worry about mileage too much, but rather focus on buying a good car. I'd rather buy a well looked after, regularly used higher mileage car than a less well looked after, rarely used lower mileage car that might throw up problems when pushed into use.
