Do you know for definite it’s cancer again, I had it twice and now I have travel insurance with that exemption. I’m currently waiting on an epilepsy diagnosis so no insurance company will quote me.

You need to shop around, there is huge variation. Factor of 10 type variation. Hope the oncologist has good news.

I have been using TravelInsurance4Medical for the last couple of years.

However, I have not yet had to make a claim with them, which is the true test of whether an insurer is any cop.

My insurance is hardly any more expensive than mainstream options TBH.

Don't get answers online. Phone them and discuss it all, make sure all T`s are crossed and i`s are dotted.

thank you all, will look into all of this, and totally get talking to someone, dont want anything left to chance - unfortunately oncologist was very sure that the lymph node was positive from the heat of the ct pet scan. the bikini tops i had only just bought got a proper kicking round the bedroom, now residing (thrown) into the back of the wardrobe, at least until i know what they are planning for me. Think the MDT meeting is on a monday so maybe later next week will get a call/letter to go back to the churchill. At least its a familiar place and faces.

Much appreciated all the advise, god this sucks

Mine too, at least for Europe. Quotes ranged from £200 to £2,800 with a variety of exclusions.
