I've got one, haven't used it a great deal but it works well, used it on car, caravan and mobility scooter lead-acid and AGM batteries, tells you if a battery is U/S.

To push this conversation forward a bit has anyone got anything to say about similar products (battery maintenance conditioners etc) ??? Are they worth the money???

I bought a Topdon Tornado 1200 a while ago. Its specs says it only goes up to 36Ah battery but I've charged and reconditioned everything I have with no real bother, the only issue being if its left for say a week, it might reset itself on a big battery. With battery charging, "less is more" and the slower you can charge the battery the better. I think if I needed to replace it I'd go a little bigger though.

They are quite expensive compared to a normal battery charger, but I'd pay the extra so long as it wasn't too much.
