Unifi question

I have used ubquiti kit for about 10 years. I've just purchased 2nd hand ap ac pro X2. Set the one up ok but it said something about a cloud gateway which I ignored. Come to set the 2nd and can't seem to get anywhere. Do I need to buy additional kit or software?

Do you have a Unifi Gateway??

E.G:

Dream Machine / UDM Pro / SE / Pro Max
Unifi Security Gateway
One of the Cloud Gateway series

This would be acting as your main router.

Have you reset the APs properly? Do you have a Unifi controller running? Or are you setting the APs up in stand-alone mode?
