Could not find this topic, have been following Marc on his epic travels on an electric motorbike, he has just bought a new one for £30k and after 2000 miles it looks like battery failure.

Not that i aspire to own an electric motorbike but follow as i am curious how his trips pan out.

I thought Energica had gone bust? Marc is quite personable but I don't really watch his videos, is the battery faulty?

Would be nice to see them back as before; they had pushed for innovation like no other.

With bike sales falling across the board and the high cost and limited usability of an EV bike, i really don't see a case for these. Such a niche product the timing to market and economy is probably off by a few years.
If ev energy density can be substantially improved then perhaps bikes might become a worthwhile proposition. Until then they'll remain a tech nerdy fringe product.
