Anything that upset or disturbed you as a kid that you can still remember ?

I remembered some stuff but didnt know what it was, I find AI is brilliant at working it out.

Apart from the first one, its amazing how utterly lame they look now.

Few of mine,

Diamonds are Forever, the Cremation scene. This really freaked me out, was about 7/8, just kind of introduced me to coffins, crematoriums and all that lovely stuff.

Mr Noseybonk, the music, that mask !

Took some finding this, just some average overacting stage school kids being all posh and Victorian, the put a play on and make and audience stuffing a load of old clothes, all well and good until the fkers come to life ! And there is me just waiting for Battle of the planets or something good like that and was subjected to this nightmare fuel ! AI found it for me, E Nesbit (Who wrote it) can fk off. Looks utterly st now but at seven it was like seeing The Exorcist or Poltergeist before bed.

Quatermass and the Pit, stayed at my mates one night and watched it, didnt like this one bit !

And this, I remember some people trapped in some strange conveyor system avoiding spinning blades, acid and god knows what, turns out it was a bloody Carry on Film ! Carry on Spying.

This is the about the only one that pops into my head as well, I watched all sorts of horror films etc when I was a young kid that I shouldn't have been watched, but nothing seems to have had a lasting effect on me, apart from this, watched it when I was about 9-10, remember being emotionally traumatised by it and I've never watched it again.

There was a Hammer film, it may have been one of those with a few separate stories in a film, but there was a story where this bloke killed his wife, then chopped her up, wrapped the bits in brown paper, and put them in the freezer. Of course, the bits came to life and started crawling around the house. The scariest bit was a brown paper wrapped head at the top of the stairs, with the brown paper over the mouth inflating and deflating as the dead head breathed. Scary for an 8 yo.

There was a Hammer production I think it was where blood came out of pipes, I was a young kid at the time and I had to stay at a distant aunties house for a few months, never found out why but anyway she was watching this episode and I was completely terrified, it didn't help she had a creaky old house and a water hammer.

Another vote for Quatermass and the Pit..
Saw the original when I was about 10/12
Caused a few sleepless nights.

Halloween.
Probably one of first times it was on terrestrial TV. Parents were going out that night and was given permission to stay up to watch it . They came home later to the TV and all lights still on with me upstairs cowering under the covers in bed. Only got a few minutes into it , shat myself and ran upstairs. Terrifying.
