Seems a very odd case. Very limited info being released by the Feds.
The family seem certain she has been abducted. There is an email ransom that's been received but I guess they have not said how they have confirmed its real?
Just tonight they released the nest doorbell camera footage. All very strange.

Biggest oddball as I ectvis the nest camera was switched off, and then 41 minutes later Guthrie's pacemaker disconnects from her phone.
So more than a simple in&out affair.
The ransom demands have not been verified, AFAIK. These days anyone could fake a ransom denand for bitcoin or other untraceable means fairly easily

The person sees the camera and then goes off to collect plant material to block it?! That suggests they hadn't previously 'cased the joint' otherwise they would have approached it without showing their face and put sticky tape over it, or just used a tool to rip it off.
Very good quality though, police would be able to identify the rucksack and balaclava, and possibly the top they were wearing. Often people are stupid enough to use stuff they've bought with their own credit card.

Apparently, the ring door bell didn't have a subscription. You can't record and save anything for more than 3 hours with just the freebie level. Yet they've been able to pull images and videos from it. So even though you don't pay for the service, they're still saving your video. Not a suprise, or much of a problem really. Just thought that was interesting. The person sees the camera and then goes off to collect plant material to block it?! Arrest made apparently. No update on Nancy though.
A Doordash driver was arrested and then released, he had made a delivery to the house earlier in the day. Apparently he didn't even know who she was:https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/live-blog/liv...
