They can't call it F2 though.

Maybe:

F1: The Second Lap

F1: Second Gear

2 F1 2 Furious

F1: The Movie 2

I hope Joseph Kosinski is not involved. I wish he would go and make another good film like Obvlivion rather than more of this st.

That’s so depressing to hear. I thought the movie was very disappointing and heavens knows what a sequel will be like.

Apex cocky young drivers grandma comes to supervise in a sort of helmut marko role. Team Apex decides to being oap brad pitt back to seduce her,and shut her up,but he will only do it if he can drive one of the cars. This time just like rocky2 he becomes wdc,and they get married.
Some actual f1 people wander around in the distant background or get mentioned.

F1 Too

F1: Judgement Day

F1: Legacy

F1 Rides Again; which leads neatly into the next sequel: F1 Goes To Monte Carlo

There was a rumour of a cross over with the new Days of Thunder sequel, although I'd be surprised if F1 (the brand) were happy to have their film diluted with ovals. But who knows.

Enjoyed the first one far more than I expected, will be seated for the sequel when/if it arrives biggrin

I hope they do an interpretation of the Gilles Villeneuve story. But I guess the purests won’t like that depicted in modern day F1.

I guess they could do a movie about a driver losing his focus due to his celebrity girlfriend.

I'm going to go against the grain and agree

I thought it was going to be unwatchable. Whilst it wasn't vintage, it was better than I expected, although my expectations were low.

Google “Roberta Cowell” to learn of a remarkable true story.

It would, in itself, make a great film…

They should replace Brad Pitt with Tom Cruise as lead.

With a script along the lines of:

He’s a racing car driver. A pretty good racing car driver, too. Then he has a crisis of confidence. Can’t race anymore. Then he meets a good-looking woman, talks him into being a better racing car driver. The end.

Like you, i enjoyed it more than expected,

the only thing that almost killed it was the truly dreadful commentating of the races- it just didn't work
